The Blank Page Lesson

Replay

A short creative lesson for

new beginnings, self-trust,

and taking the next brave step.

If you heard me mention The Blank Page on the podcast, I'm so glad you're here.

This lesson was recorded on my first official day of retirement, as I stepped into my own new chapter. But this message is not just about retirement. It's for anyone standing at the edge of something new and wondering:

Where do I even begin?

In this gentle lesson, we use the blank page as a symbol for life, possibility, fear, perfectionism, and the courage it takes to make the first mark.

In This Lesson You'll Discover:

💛 Why the blank page feels so intimidating

💛 How fear, perfectionism, and self-doubt keep us stuck

💛 A simple creative exercise called the HappyHer Compass

💛 Four questions to help you move forward with more clarity and confidence

💛 How to take one brave, doable step instead of waiting until everything is figured out

Whether you're entering a new season, chasing a dream, changing a belief, or simply feeling stuck, this lesson offers a gentle place to begin.

The blank page is not asking you to be perfect.

It's simply asking you to begin.

What You'll Need

Gather whatever you already have at home:

  • A blank sheet of paper

  • Watercolors and a brush (optional)

  • Markers, colored pencils, crayons, or pens

  • A cup of water and paper towel if using paint

  • A quiet space where you can reflect and create

No artistic experience is needed.

This lesson is not about making beautiful art. It's about exploring, reflecting, and allowing yourself to begin before you feel completely ready.
